Description
“FADE AWAY MEDLEY” is a work about youth, hedonism, waste, and rebellion. Beyond that, “FADE AWAY MEDLEY” has a strong literary orientation. Why? Because Jonas developed it in close collaboration with the writer Joshua Groß (whose works have been published by Korbinian Verlag, Matthes & Seitz, and Das Wetter magazine, among others).
Joshua wrote a text specifically for “Fade Away Medley” and also conducted extensive interviews with the musicians Haiyti, Tightill, and Skinnyblackboy, as well as with the actors Julia Windischbauer and Damian Rebgetz.
Jonas and Joshua also discussed depressive hedonism (shoutout to Mark Fisher) and much more. All of these texts can be found in the accompanying book — in both German and English — along with one written by curator Juliane Bischoff.
