INSTANT SOLUTIONS unfolds somewhere between funeral home, travel agency, and concept store—placing death at the center of cultural, social, and aesthetic reflection. The exhibition approaches dying not only as a recurring motif in art history, but as a shared reality that unites us all: our inevitable future.
The immersive installation opens a speculative space in which contemporary rituals of mourning, remembrance, and farewell are examined. At the same time, the exhibition draws attention to the increasing commodification of death: where burial becomes a lifestyle choice, memory a marketable object, and the body a material to be designed.
Visitors encounter a range of postmortem “solutions”: becoming a firework, a coral reef, or compost; opting for cryopreservation or digital afterlife via AI. Even the coffin becomes a design object, and ash paintings offer a decorative way to remain present—color-matched to...More
