This is a full-time job and overtime hours that you add to your portfolio for a contest created for the same names. Hours and weeks spent nibbling dust and clogging your lungs with turpentine, eternal dirt under your nails, and randomly smeared oil on new shirts – all just to haggle with people like on Vinted, exposed by your problems, ridiculed like on Dr. Phil. We’re not building bridges or curing cancer. We tell jokes for people who are supposed to get the joke because they’ve spent countless hours in lectures, talks, and lost their youth checking their prostate.
Yet we create a specimen so overloaded with mistakes, so human and unique, that others can hang you above the fireplace and turn you into an investment bubble out of fear of inflation.
