Letizia Romanini has been developing an artistic practice for about ten years that is deeply rooted in the observation of everyday life, ordinary objects, and familiar landscapes. Her work is often marked by a particular attention to fragility, the ephemeral, and the passage of time. She explores how small, often overlooked details can tell broader stories about our environment, our memory, and our relationship to the world. Her practice seeks to transfigure reality through in-situ compositions that combine different sculptural techniques with photography—constantly pushing the boundaries between two-dimensional and three-dimensional space. The principle of seriality, recurrent in her process, allows her to embrace repetition and accumulation as ways of inscribing the artistic gesture within a patient dynamic of contemplation.
