Biography
An architect by training, with a master in Architecure from the National School of Architecture in Nantes, Guillaume was a teacher at the University of Rwanda, where he learned to shift his perspective, to mix points of view and influences, leaving western and present centered narrations. A few years ago his work evolved towards drawings and large scale murals. His work is highly narrative, often questioning our relationship between spirituality, nature and our society.
His playful work unearths forgotten and little-known worlds, inhabited by mythologies of fascinating beauty. His drawings are stories where eras dance and intertwine. The clear line of Guillaume Sardin recomposes the world while traveling ,like a breeze, from reference to reference.
