Biography
Kristin Reger is a visual artist working across media including sculpture, performance, video and painting. She earned her PhD and MFA from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). Reger also completed the two year Academic Program at SOMA. She is a Professor in the Department of Art & Art History, Hunter College in Manhattan.
Recent solo exhibitions include: Fleshmaxxing SADE Los Angeles; Calypto, Expo Chicago; Wetwarp Emily Cooper, Los Angeles. Burst, Salón Silicón; IUDUIUDUI, ZsONA MACO, Relaciones Públicas; New Works, Von Ammon Co.
Reger has participated in group exhibitions and performances at Swivel Gallery, Deli Gallery, Guadalajara 90210, Galería Enrique Guerrero, and Anonymous Gallery, Museo Universitario de Arte Contemporáneo; Sala de Arte Público Siqueiros and Museo de Arte Carillo Gil.
Her work has been reviewed in: frieze, Spike, Paper, Flaunt, Kaltblut, DNA, Vice, iD, Vogue & is in collections including Soho House, Del Castillo y Castro, and Fundación M.
