Biography
Post-organic Bauplan (ARG/DEU) is integrated by Josefina Maro, performance artist and Salvador Marino, Dr. in Evolutionary Biology and multimedia artist. The project started in 2017 in Córdoba, Argentina.
Post-Organic Bauplan works on the development of robotic prostheses to explore from movement and question the practices that condition our bodily perception. The duo want to disembody the idea of the body as natural, given and unmodifiable. The prostheses developed by Post-Organic Bauplan become a source for experimentation and imagination of a corporeality outside its institutionalization, making possible a new relationship with the environment and allowing to rethink corporeal limits.
Post-Organic Bauplan robotic prostheses are developed from scratch by the team. This is an ongoing investigation that the duo started in 2017. To know more about the robots visit the following link.
