Description

“Go down, Prometheus” is a call, a final hope, a cry, or perhaps a quiet, almost friendly response. In Greek mythology, Prometheus is the Titan who stole fire from the gods and gave it to humanity. Over time, his figure has become a metaphor for creativity and innovation, suffering and redemption, and resistance to oppression.

Yet the myth also raises questions about the limits of human aspiration. Prometheus does not simply rebel against the gods; he challenges the idea of predetermined fate, reminding us that progress carries both promise and consequence. Repeated endlessly on a scrolling LED display, the phrase transforms into a suspended address—oscillating between invocation and warning, command and plea. Prometheus appears here not only as a figure of defiance, but as a philosophical allegory of what it means to be human.
